Ongoing updates and online services from Microsoft 365 make it difficult to use a local conversion solution. How can we still easily convert Office documents?

PDF/A-4 (ISO 19.005-4:2020) was released in November 2020. It is based on part 2 of the PDF standard (ISO 32.000-2:2020). 3D content of the PDF was included in the standard. The jungle of standard levels – a, u, b (be‍cause of tagging and Unicode) has been greatly simplified.
