How are the right documents found? In SAP, supplementary information is linked to master data such as material, bill of material, functional location, equipment or as production resources and tools. Our process evaluates these links – according to various adjustable methods. Additional filters for file or document type and validity help to find exactly the right documents.

Flexible Distribution Channels

Printed or digitally distributed? This is not a crucial question, because you can switch between different methods at any time: Output to printers as a complete stack. Distribution is made even easier by cover and end sheets with additional information.

Or do you want a distribution portal? No problem. This is also a standard feature: digital distribution as a PDF file via e-mail attachment. An app is available for cell phones and tablets. With it, you can also request and view maintenance papers while on the move.

Different File Locations - No Problem

SAP knows many methods to connect files with objects and processes. We support them all: SAP DVS, Generic Object Services (GOS), ArchiveLink and Folders Management. If that’s not enough: we can also access third-party document management systems: OpenText, Teamcenter, file systems and so on. We are convinced: we have already tapped into your management system as well.

If anything ever happens – we help to discover the flaw in the process. After all, the distribution is documented. Take a look in SAP at what was distributed to whom and when. By the way, this also makes subsequent deliveries possible.

All batches of documents can be provided with a transaction and time stamp. This also makes it easier for the on-site user to find the correct assignment.
