Fieldnotes: ASUG Enterprise Information Management Conference

by Debra Garls

October 23-25
Chicago, Illinois

For the last several months I have been traveling around the country attending ASUG events. Last week I was at the EIM conference in Chicago, Illinois along with our new Business Development Manager, Catherine O’Toole. It is always a pleasure to meet up with longtime clients and to introduce new companies to SEAL Systems.

I thought I’d share my top two takeaways from this event:

SAP S/4HANA Migration

As I mentioned in my SAPPHIRE Diaries earlier this year, S/4 is the future. In a study conducted by ASUG in the EIM community, more than half of companies responded they are either live on SAP S/4HANA or in the process of transitioning. Those surveyed identified data migration as one of their biggest concerns.

SEAL Systems understands this concern and has steps to ensure that a company’s SEAL Solutions are updated so they are compatible with the migration. If notified and involved during the early migration planning stages, SEAL Systems can provide updated SEAL code and/or the S/4 connector to ensure the solution is compatible with the update.

If you would like to learn more about how SEAL Systems’ Solutions can help with the migration of S/4HANA, contact me at (email/LinkedIn) for more information.

Document Compliance

Regulatory compliance is a challenge companies have been struggling with for several years now. Not getting compliance right can result in hefty penalties, loss of import rights and can even affect a company’s market value. SEAL Systems automates document compliance by creating a streamlined, predictable and secure process.

If you are interested in learning more about how SEAL Systems can automate your document compliance process, please join me at the ASUG Chicago Chapter meeting on November 1st. Or, you can contact me at (email/LinkedIn) for more information.
