The components communicate securely via HTTPs, TLS and IPPs, among others. This ensures that the output reaches the output channel assigned to it and the output system used by it. Authentication using OIDC identity providers (e.g. KeyCloak) or Active Directory/ADFS ensures that each user role only has access to the clients and functions authorized for it.

And the output is also protected. With pull printing/secure printing every output job takes the right route to its authorized recipient. Visible information in the margin or in the document (stamp, watermark) provides additional information about who ordered the job and whether the document is up to date. No room for error. Simple administration

PLOSSYS® Output Engine processes device-type-dependent formats such as SAPGOFU/SAPOTF, PostScript, PCL, ZPL, PostScript-PDF, SAPWIN and XML/RDI. All output channels and media (multi-channel) can be used: electronic directories and filing structures, e-mail, web portal, printers and plotters (PostScript, PCL) as well as label printers (spool-only). Naturally with a return channel to SAP. Queues and their parameters are conveniently managed in Printer Management. Queues are created, stopped, deleted and redirected. The required queue is quickly found using a filter. Administration couldn’t be simpler!

Central monitoring and accounting

Without an overview of the print and output processes, errors are difficult to detect and rectify. A failed print job can bring production to a standstill. This makes meaningful dashboards and reports with valuable information about system usage and system status all the more important. We consistently collect and log this information in logging with SEAL Elastic Stack. Central accounting provides information on system usage in relation to a company unit, locations or departments. This means you have all important operating data and usage information centrally in one place – the single point of truth.
