Compliance regulations like the Basic Data Protection Regulation in Germany (DSGVO) and GDPR in Europe have been enforced since 2016. These regulations have found their way into many different lives across the world. So, no matter where you are located, being compliant is important to any business. Therefore, in this blog, we will show you how you can use an output management solution to achieve compliant printing across your enterprise.
Our Document Output Management Suite as well as our Document Conversion Management Suite have again been certified for SAP S/4HANA. Already in 2017 SEAL Systems was one of the first suppliers, which was certified by SAP for S/4HANA solutions. By the regular re-certification we ensure for our customers that they can fall back on certified solutions and thus profit from a high investment protection.
The push for digitization is growing, especially because many employees are continuing to work from their home office. Now more than ever before, companies are reviewing their processes and adapting them for the mobile workforce.
Migrate to Windows 10 to simplify your printing infrastructure. Read in the new SEAL Systems Factsheet how you can quickly and easily print from Windows®, Citrix, or Terminal Server environments!
As software provider for the manufacturer-independent output management solution "PLOSSYS® netdome" SEAL Systems always deals with questions of security in the context of printing and electronic distribution. In this context we work together with different IT committees and interest groups to contribute to standards and guidelines.
The SEAL Print Client is an order client for interactive printing processes. With it documents from different sources can be combined flexibly to output requests, while the user retains full control over the process. At the same time, the Print Client offers interesting new possibilities for tool integration and process automation.
Many companies still rely on individual ERP and CRM systems. Usually, only their own ERP systems can map their unique and historical processes and working methods. These systems are usually programmed for host computers such as an AS/400 from IBM. Alternatively, eServers, iSeries, System i5 or Unix are also used, but Linux or Windows systems are starting to be used more. Despite the aging architecture and application environment, these enterprise resource planning systems meet the high demands on business processes. Nevertheless, they are overwhelmed with the output, distribution and design of the documents.
With PLOSSYS® netdome, SEAL Systems offers a robust and powerful Corporate Output Management Engine. In over 35 years, SEAL Systems' PLOSSYS engine has been trusted by more than 1,500 customers worldwide. PLOSSYS 5, our newest product from the PLOSSYS series, is especially designed for cloud operation in architecture and technology, without sacrificing the possibilities of on-premise installation. Both operating modes can even be combined in the future.
In addition to the administration and management of printers via our software solution easyPRIMA, the linking of technical and commercial data via fleet management is a decisive controlling instrument. Therefore, SEAL Systems has developed an additional software solution that links technical data like printer name, serial number, IP address, and counter readings with the relevant commercial data (e.g., leasing period, warranty, date of purchase, owner, cost center and all associated receipts). This additional solution creates a uniform view of the global printer fleet and makes it manufacturer-independent and neutral.
Which IT service does not know the problem of historically grown printer names in its own IT landscape? In the past, printers were simply created at will without paying attention to any particular system. Since different IT employees at different locations create and manage printers, a proliferation of printer names is usually unavoidable. Together with our customers, we are developing a concept for the naming convention, which we present to you in more detail in this blog post.
