DPF4Convert – Digital Process Factory® for Conversion Server Solutions

The Digital Process Factory® (DPF) from SEAL Systems is a development and long term environment for the design and control of tasks, information processing, data, files and documents.

The main functions of this process: automation, creation, handling and administration - for process and distribution of information are done very easily within the DPF.

The essential functions for realization of conversion services were collected according to function packages for several administration systems (DMS, EDM/PLM). This allows for automatic conversion - for example, during the status change in the administration system or time controlled.

All basic function packages already contain the essential components for

• the receipt of the file/structure, which have to be converted
• the control of single conversions
• the logging of all events
• the return of the conversion result to the administration system

In the portfolio of the DPF WorkingUnits there are process modules which can be selected and combined:

• File operation (CheckIn/CheckOut)
• Application converter and format converter
• Adding and seperate of documents
• Compression and encryption
• Stamps and water marks
• Analysing methods and settings of properties

As an integration method in an SOA environment there is the "DPF Web Service interface". With this you can realize conversion services for Microsoft Sharepoint.
