Support Road Map for SAP Release 4.7 and Lower

Technical progress is continuing and less customers use SAP version 4.7 or below. SEAL Systems is eager to use the possibilities of the currenct version in an optimal way. Therefore, the development of the products based on the SAP R/3 version 4.7 and below will be discontinued by April 1, 2012.

If you use SAP ECC 6.0 already in your company, there will be no additional changes. You will be supported and by current versions of the SEAL Systems products according to your maintenance contract.

SEAL Systems will support customers with SAP 4.7 in the future according to the obligations of the software and license maintenance contract. This support will be done in the following form:

• Full support until March 2012
• From April 01, 2012 there will be no new developments. The support is only done with patches.
• After March 31, 2013 this support can only be performed with direct access to the customer system.
• There will be no further developments on the SEAL Systems products for SAP R/3 4.6C or former versions.

These dates are based on the SAP maintenance strategy: Since March 2009, SAP offers only extended support and after March 2013, no support for release 4.7 is available anymore with the exception of customer-related maintanance, similar to what SEAL Systems does.
