Record-to-Go

SAP Records Management and Case Management structures manage documents and records. Record2Go from SEAL Systems provides an Office version of complete records or partial records in PDF format.

Many selection and filter methods


As a first action, Record2Go dissolves the transferred records to single elements. This is done recursively and the elements of records are determined for the collecting process. Then the documents needed for the selection process are retrieved from the single record elements in the following way:

  • Filtering of documents (RM and/or Archive Link documents) 
  • Filtering according to configured document element types
  • Filtering according to configurable rules (eg. all documents, which have a certain word in the Attribute "keyword")
  • User selection via choice dialog


Then the additional data needed for the publishing process including stamps or content entries are identified.

Publishing with Digital Process Facory® (DPF)


The selected documents and the attached additional data (for stamps, contents, etc.) are extracted from SAP Records Management and combined to a new PDF file by using a special DPF process. Within a synchronous process, the targeted files are read and displayed in the PDF viewer and stored in the Web Portal which then informse user by email.

New structured contents


An important feature is the generation of the contents in the target file. In addition to the the basic relation Record-Document, further relations can be considered. With this it is possible to depict the complete record structure in the contents: all directories are shown within the record in which the document is inserted. This way the user gets all additionial information attached to the selected document.
