Document search, view and distribution out of many SAP applications and transactions is a core competence of SEAL Systems. Currently, almost all services from SEAL Systems are supported within SAP PLM 7 in Web Dynpro technology.

Document Distribution

Document Distribution Client (DDC/Web) is available in Dynpro implementation. It can be easily integrated into all PLM 7 applications without any modifications. In addition to the support for output of single documents or document lists, there is an optional retrieval of documents from SAP structures (ex. bill of material, order) directly form PLM 7.

Document Conversion

The conversion at status change is also started out of PLM 7. This allows for the connection to the SEAL Conversion Server.

Document View

A useful funtion for many customers is the stamping of files before viewing or document export. This function is also available with SAP PLM 7.

Load and export of documents

In connection with PLM 7, Access Conrol Lists (ACL) are supported for documents. With this functionality the access to documents can be controlled more precisely than with the classic SAP authorization management. The products DMS Loader and Extended Search & Action support the loading or exporting of this information.
