There are many SEAL Systems conversion servers for various input and output formats. In addition, there are standard integrations for many PLM and DMS solutions. The conversion interface for SAP DMS has been extensively revised and released in a new version.

Here is an overview of the most important features:

• Improved re-conversion of files with identical workstation application types before and after conversion.
• Simplified configuration of conversion definitions at use of wild card signs.
• Versatile types for sending of Emails in case of successful or faulty conversions: recipient, text and language configurable.

Many Standard Userexits are delivered free of charge:

• Multiple conversion: check out of all original files and transfer to a fitting conversion method
• Repair of original files – for correction of frequent errors
• Reset conversion status – helps at system halts
• Editing bill of material - at bill of material refilling, all original files of a certain application are checked in order to be transferred to a process for editing (ex. adaption of files to a new application version).
• Version check for bill of material – check for version conflicts: Useful if there are documents in a bill of material, which are only different in version numbers (this means that document type, document number and parts number are equal, but version number is different). In this case the conversion is aborted with an error message.
• Trigger process after successful conversion - The Userexit checks for events that are configured after successful conversion. If that is the case, the configured processes are started.

This new version  2.40 is available free of charge for all customers with a maintenance contract.
