Document search and distribution from various SAP applications and transactions is basic functionality for SEAL Systems.
Now these services are also available for SAP PLM 7 in the Web Dynpro technology.
The central element for collection and distribution of documents is the DDC (Document Distribution Client).

DDC can be integrated into applications using document relations. From there, documents can be identified and collected for this object. Within DDC, the search result list can be edited and extended. When the output parameters are selected, the distribtution begins in an output management system: print or electronic distribution.

Currently the following applilcation and integration cases are supported.
- View document – single document
- Show material – documents connected to material
- View bill of material – documents connected to bill of material
- Display change number – documents to change number
- Document browser: document list
- Object navigator: document list
- PLM object search: document list, single material, bill of material and change number
Further application scenarios will be prepared.
