CENIT AG, located in Stuttgart, Germany, is a consulting and software specialist for optimization of business processes. SEAL Systems is the worldwide leading supplier of Corporate Output Management solutions. Both companies will closely work together and integrate their solutions. The common solution offer will be presented for the first time April 13th to the 15th, 2011, at the SAP PLM Insider in Paris.
Consistent processes
For many years both companies have offered closely related individual SAP PLM solutions with integrated conversion and document distribution services for customers. This cooperation will be extended now for SAP PLM 7 with joint solution offerings. From now on the intelligent process solution cenitCONNECT contains business process templates for full or partially automated generation and distribution of product documentation. These templates are based on the output management solutions from SEAL Systems.
The advantage of this new offering from CENIT and SEAL Systems is the consistent realization of engineering business processes for other fields like procurement, process preparation, production, and service. Through this integration of engineering with a process controlled data and activity management the processes are streamlined and accelerated. This leads to reduced throughput times and production costs. Also the process quality is significantly increased due to omission of manual operations.
Integrated document distribution
The joint customers of CENIT and SEAL Systems will receive substantial benefits from the new integrated solution offer, as the director of the SAP Business Unit at CENIT Horst Heckhorn says: "As the first supplier we offer a completely based solution on the new SAP PLM7 technology for implementation and control of consistent processes – from engineering to spare parts handling. The joint solution offer will be introduced for the first time at the SAP PLM Insider on April 13th to the 15th in Paris, France, at a partner booth within an “Educational Breakout Session”. On May 4, the premiere will be at the next CENIT Innovation Day, together with the SAP AG in Walldorf, Germany.
