We are looking for project managers

Job purpose

• Managing projects for implementation and support of manufacturing based software for large companies.

Duties

• Implementation of software solutions based on specific customer project requirements. Post installation support for the life of project and extended maintenance contracts.
• Achieve operational objectives through creation of specifications outlining software solution and additional custom requirements.
• Self-managed project goal setting, scheduling, and reporting.
• Training and knowledge exchange with customer regarding use and configuration of software.
• Support of marketing team in attending and hosting industry specific conventions and meetings
• Pre-sales support for technical level discussions, demos and seminars.

Skills/qualifications

• Basic SAP familiarity and experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows and Unix including administrative settings and options.
• Knowledge of the Perl scripting language.
• Java and XML a plus.
• German language skill a plus.

Notes

• Travel, approximately once a month, within the continental US required.
• Valid US passport required for occasional travel abroad.
